There are few bands quite as divisive as Berlin-based experimental post-punk band Liars. Fronted by Angus Andrew they've become synonymous with dramatic shifts in direction.

Loved their début album, the rollicking They Threw Us All in a Trench and Stuck a Monument on Top? You likely didn't feel quite the same about the dirgy Wicca-worshipping avant-garde follow-up They Were Wrong, So We Drowned.

With a new album - Sisterworld, due March 9, 2010 - comes another shift. This time it's dynamic tribalism interspersed with bursts of extreme rock riffs. Witness for yourselves on the rather impressive video for the band's new single "Scissor".
