Barely weeks after cancer claimed the health and ultimately the life of Killers front-man Brandon Flowers mother, the big C has another music-related victim added to its list.
The XX - recipients of Strange Glue's 2009 album of the year accolade - have been forced to cancel their European tour dates following the death of singer Romy Madley Croft's father.
There were no U.K dates affected, but the shows pulled are as follows:
