CMJ Music Marathon Confirms Initial 2009 Line-up

The CMJ Music Marathon Festival has confirmed the first batch of names for its incarnation this year and truthfully, its already looking pretty good.

Taking place in New York City for five entire days and nights, the event is said to finish with a total of 1,200 confirmed names playing across 75 separate New York venues.

The initial announcements include Japandroids, The Temper Trap, Atlas Sound, múm, School Of Seven Bells, Crystal Antlers, Pissed Jeans and a handful more, all of which can be viewed below.

So October 20th to 24th, New York City, the 2009 CMJ Music Marathon, be there. 

More info can be seen at the official CMJ website HERE. Tickets are $475 (around £285) for all five days and $285 or £172 for students whilst VIP passes can be picked up for a staggering $750 (working out at nearly £460).
