Future Islands Officially Thrill Jockey Property

After three years delivering strange art-pop to the underground scene, Future Islands have now officially signed to independent label Thrill Jockey and are ready to take their musings that one step further.

Their début Wave Like Home was released back in 2008 and just two years later, the trio are gearing p to drop album number two on their new Thrill Jockey imprint.

In Evening Air is the new records title and it'll be available as of Spring 2010. Whilst you wait for that, the band will also drop a remix EP on Free Danger by the name of Post Office Wave Chapel. It features members of Beach House, Javelin and No Age reworking the bands tracks so keep your eyes open over the next coming weeks for some decent new music coming your way.
