Support new music: choose from our favourite new albums this month.

Damon Albarn's cartoon crew the Gorrilaz are set to release their new album 'Plastic Beach' on March 8th of this year and as if there wasn't already enough hype surrounding the CD, the band have taken it one step further and released a new trailer for the album.

Filled with decent CGI, panning shots of a lovely looking hotel type structure on an island in the middle of nowhere and an epic string soundtrack, the mini-video doesn't give away much apart from look good and making us want to hear the album just that little bit more. Considering that's basically its only objective in the first place, we'd say it was rather successful.

Still, a trailer for an album, kind of strange right? You can check it out yourself just below.

The album has been preceded by the Bobby Womack and Mos Def-featuring single Stylo which saw release just over a week ago.
