Norway's Øya Festival Confirms Pavement As Headliners

Pavement are continuing their world dominating 2010 reunion with another headlining date for one of the big-name Festivals, this time in Norway.

They'll take to the main-stage at next years Øya Festival in the countries capital city of Oslo. Other names announced so far include Big Boi of Outkast, The Gaslight Anthem, Surfer Blood, Major Lazer, Cymbals Eat Guitars, Converge and Lindstrøm & Christabelle. A host of up-and-coming Norwegian bands are also getting their chance over the course of the event.

It takes place over five days, from the 10th - 14th of August inside the grounds of Oslo's 'Medieval Park' or the 'Middelalderparken' should we say.
