Pitchfork have announced their first batch of names for their annual 'Pitchfork Festival' which takes place at the Union Park in Chicago.

They've managed to reel in Pavement for another reunion date in 2010 as well as Modest Mouse, Raekwon, LCD Soundsystem, St. Vincent, Here We Go Magic, Lightning Bolt, Cass McCombs and Sleigh Bells. Not bad right?

The musical event takes place over the course of July 16th - 18th and more names are said to be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets for the shindig are available now from TicketWeb, starting at $40 (about £25) for a day ticket and topping out at $90 (approximately £60) for the full three days. Apparently no two day tickets are available this year.
