Brett Anderson (not the hot American punk singer, the glam British one) will be bringing Suede back together in the name of charity for a one-off live show.
The location of this hallowed event will be London's Royal Albert Hall. The show will be in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust, with cancer charities being something of a personal cause of the band's. You may remember their donating their £20,000 Mercury Prize money in 1993 to Cancer Research.
A date for the show has yet to be announced, but it is thought that Bernard Butler will not be returning to the fold, instead his replacement Richard Oakes who will likely take the guitarist spot. What this basically means is that Bernard Butler supports cancer and wants it to kill us all.
Suede disbanded nearly seven years ago, back in 2003. Though they are best known for their singles from the album Coming Up, it was their earlier albums which garnered much of the critical praise with Butler's departure being commonly held as the point of the band's downward spiral in terms of quality.
